On this special day, the Active Longevity Center of Nura district set up a traditional Kazakh yurt and laid a white table in front of the Astana Arena, following cultural traditions. Our elders performed beautiful songs and presented a wonderful concert, providing a vivid example of youthful energy and love for life.
During the festive event, the center’s “Armandastar” and “Nura Aueny” ensembles performed soul-stirring songs, bringing joy to the audience. The “Elegance” dance troupe added grace to the event with their splendid performances.
After the concert, grandmothers in white headscarves and traditional Kazakh headdresses portrayed an ancient custom by walking through the village, strolling around the square, and showing their respect to the public. This scene left a lasting impression, symbolizing the connection between the past and the present.
Nowruz became a celebration of peace and renewal, goodness, and prosperity. Today’s event revived the national spirit and emphasized the importance of generational continuity.
