In the Saryarka district of Astana city, the first gathering of collectors from Astana took place at the “Active Long Life Center”. About 60-70 pensioner collectors participated in the event, presenting their personal collections and exchanging experiences. More than half of the participants were pensioners of Astana city and regular service users of the center.
The main goals of the collector pensioners are:
Preserving cultural heritage – Collecting and preserving artifacts, works of art, and historical relics that represent the historical and cultural value of Kazakhstan, as well as passing them on to future generations to protect cultural heritage.
Promoting art and history – Organizing exhibitions and cultural events to promote historical and cultural values, which is significant not only for Kazakhstan but also at the international level.
Forming private and public collections – Collecting historical relics and presenting them for the benefit of society. The collected items contribute to the cultural development of society and enhance the value of art and history.
Investment direction – Investing in rare and valuable works of art, antiques, and other collectible items. This approach is financially beneficial and contributes to the preservation of cultural heritage.
Educational activities – Collectors share their accumulated knowledge and experience with young people, increasing their interest in art and history, which helps raise the cultural level of society.
Participation in international exhibitions and auctions – Showcasing and developing Kazakhstani collections at the global level. This helps introduce Kazakhstan’s cultural heritage to the world and allows Kazakhstani collectors to become known internationally.
The participants shared their personal collections and collection experiences, and they plan to expand such events in the future, contributing to the preservation of national culture.
