A tennis tournament titled “Grandfather – Father – Grandchild” was held at the Active Longevity Center of Almaty District in celebration of Father’s Day. The event was organized to promote family values, strengthen intergenerational ties, and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
During the opening ceremony, Nurgul Talgatovna, Head of the Social Services Department of Almaty District, congratulated the participants on the occasion and highlighted the important role of fathers in both the family and society.
“A father is the pillar of the family and a guiding figure for his children. Preserving family values and passing them on to future generations is our shared responsibility. May every home be filled with harmony and unity, and may the bond between generations continue to grow stronger. I wish to see more meaningful initiatives and sporting events like this in the future,” she said.
Throughout the tournament, participants not only demonstrated their athletic skills but also showcased mutual respect, harmony, and strong family bonds. The participation of several generations within the same team added special significance to the event and created a warm and inspiring atmosphere.
