On May 17, the traditional 10th BI Marathon charity race was held in Astana. Representatives of the Active Longevity Centers from the Nurа, Sarayshyq, and Yesil districts actively took part in this large-scale event. In total, 128 participants from our center joined the marathon.
The BI Marathon is a charity event that brings together thousands of people for a shared noble cause. This year, 4,869 participants took part in the marathon, including 220 competitors in the Nordic walking category. The event also brought together BI Group, city residents, partners, professional athletes, and amateur runners.
For 10 years, the BI Marathon has been uniting society in support of helping children. Participants not only promote a healthy lifestyle but also demonstrate a strong example of charity and unity.
From the Active Longevity Center of the Sarayshyq district, the following participants took part in the marathon: Farida Batyrbekova, Raissa Temirgaliyeva, Ulbala Beimagambetova, Bakhtyzhan Ibrayeva, Mayrash Smakova, and Aliya Tabaeva.
Kama Isenova, representing the Yesil district, took 1st place. Also, Almas Zhalauovich Kenshinbayev and Mukhtarak Isakovna Sidikova represented the district and showed high activity during the marathon.
From the Nurа district, one of the oldest participants of the marathon took part — 88-year-old Sabyrzhan Balgazarov, becoming an example of vitality and spirit.
