Today, a meaningful event dedicated to the opening of Book Week was held at the Active Longevity Center of the Nura district. During the meeting, participants exchanged views on the importance of books in human life and read excerpts from the works of prominent representatives of Kazakh literature.
A quiz organized as part of the event sparked great interest among the attendees, who showed active participation. In addition, the features of audiobooks were presented, highlighting them as a modern and accessible format of reading. The retirees learned about the advantages of audiobooks, including saving time and the ability to listen anywhere.
As part of the week, initiatives aimed at promoting the tradition of book exchange were also proposed. This helps to build connections among readers and increase interest in books. During the event, Sansyzbay Mukanov donated his book titled “Special Dictionary” to the center, supporting this initiative.
