Today, at the Active Longevity Center of the Almaty district, within the framework of the Day of Culture and National Traditions, the forgotten customs of the Kazakh people were revived under the guidance of Turdykul Suleimenova, head of the «Urpaqqa Amanat» club.
During the event, such ancient traditions as «Kamshy ilu», «Shapan shegeleu», and «Kynamende» were vividly presented through theatrical performances, with detailed explanations of their meaning and significance.
In addition, the ceremonies «Kudalasу» and «Syrga salu» were demonstrated, and the traditional «Synsu» ritual, performed during the bride’s farewell, was also presented. The audience received the performances with great interest and expressed their sincere appreciation.
