A cultural evening titled “Әнім сен едің” (You Were My Song), dedicated to the works of the State Prize Laureate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a prominent figure in Kazakh poetry, and the People’s Writer of Kazakhstan, Tumanbay Moldagaliev, was held at the Social Service Center of the Esil District, organized by the “Shyrqa Guitar” club. The literary-musical event began by honoring the creative connection between two titans of Kazakh art – Tumanbay Moldagaliev and Nurgisa Tielendiev. The concert program started with melodious songs by N. Tielendiev, based on the poet’s lyrics. During the evening, popular songs based on the poet’s lyrics, which have become favorites of the people, were performed, including “Жүрегімнің сөзі” (The Word of My Heart), “Сарыарқа” (Saryarka), “Жан досым” (My Friend), “Көктем келді” (Spring Has Come), and others.
Additionally, the evening was enhanced by a performance from the “Zhana Tolkyn” dance club. During the event, the pensioners shared their thoughts on the poet’s contribution to Kazakh literature, his place in poetry, and his lyrical and heartfelt works.
“Today, a wonderful song evening was held in the Esil District, organized by the pensioners. Artistic groups made up of veterans from our center actively participated. I especially want to highlight the preparation of the “Shyrqa Guitar” club. I believe that art lovers not only became acquainted with the poet’s works but also received a wonderful mood” – concluded the head of the BUÖSO of Esil District, Janar Esenamanova.
The audience who attended the evening was deeply impressed. This evening was not only a tribute to the poet’s creativity but also a unique cultural gathering that brought together several generations and provided spiritual nourishment.
