August 10 marks the birthday of the great poet and wise thinker Abai Kunanbayuly. This year, we are celebrating the 180th anniversary of the revered akyn with special respect.
Nearly one hundred pensioners from the Active Longevity Center gave a heartfelt performance at the city’s Abai monument square in honor of this significant date. During the event, they recited Abai’s profound poems with expression and performed his songs, taking the audience on a spiritual journey through poetry and music.
The legacy of the great Abai is an inexhaustible spiritual treasure of our people — a priceless heritage to be passed down from generation to generation.
