As part of the Nauryznama celebrations, on March 14 — the Day of Körisu Ait — a festive concert titled “New Life, New Year — Meeting the New Day” was held at the initiative of the Baikonur and Saryarka districts. The event took place at the Zhannur shopping center.
The main goal of the celebration was to promote the tradition of Körisu (Amal), show respect to the older generation, and introduce city residents to national traditions and culture.
Before the concert began, participants walked around the shopping center, sang songs, and invited visitors to join the festive program.
The audience was congratulated by the head of Baikonur district, Rosa Karabekkyzy, who shared warm wishes on the occasion of the Körisu holiday.

The concert opened with a theatrical performance. During the performance, participants demonstrated the Körisu tradition through a stage scene: villagers greeted one another, elders gave blessings (bata), and grandmothers scattered sweets and treats (shashu).
The program also featured songs, dance performances, and a fashion show of traditional national costumes.

The event created a festive atmosphere, gave the audience a positive mood, and once again highlighted the rich traditions and culture of the Kazakh people.
