Employees of the Active Longevity Center met with legal professionals.
The meeting was held as a training seminar titled “State-Guaranteed Legal Aid.” The seminar was attended by the Center’s management and staff.
During the meeting, senior specialist of the Astana City Department of Justice, Bauyrzhan Smagulov, lawyers Aidarkhan Turganuly and Aigul Zhunisova, and legal consultant of the “Justice League” Chamber of Legal Consultants, Venera Nuralina, provided comprehensive explanations on the legal relationships that arise in the provision of state-guaranteed legal aid, as well as the rights and responsibilities of individuals and legal entities when receiving such assistance.
The legal experts focused on the types of legal aid guaranteed by the state, the categories of people in need of assistance, the rights of those entitled to receive it, and the procedures for providing such aid by lawyers.
At the end of the seminar, the Center’s employees consulted the lawyers and received detailed legal assistance on their pressing concerns.
The seminar significantly contributed to increasing citizens’ legal literacy.
