Today, a city sightseeing tour on the LRT train was organized by the Active Longevity Center of Almaty District.
As part of the event, members of the «Qalamger» literary club — Kuralay Nurmaganova, Urmanbek Tosqarin, and Serik Qulmaganbetov — recited heartfelt poems dedicated to their hometown, sharing their creativity and warm emotions with fellow passengers.
The club’s leader and experienced educator, Batima Abdrakhova, gave an expressive reading of poems by the outstanding Kazakh poet Mukagali Makataev, earning the appreciation of the audience.
The cultural journey was further enriched by a performance from the «TAMGA» ensemble. Dressed in traditional national attire, the artists performed Kazakh folk songs as well as compositions by the renowned composer Shamshi Kaldayakov, creating a festive atmosphere and uplifting everyone’s spirits.
More than 40 people took part in the cultural and educational tour, gaining a deeper appreciation of the spiritual value of Kazakh poetry and national musical heritage.
