On September 4, a literary-educational lesson titled «Til – tatulyq tiregi» was held at the Social Service Center for Bayqonyr district on the occasion of the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by pensioners studying the language at the Active Longevity Center, members of the «Urpaqqa amanat» intellectual club, language enthusiasts, and school students. The cognitive Kazakh language lesson was organized to enhance the status of the state language and promote interethnic friendship among the younger generation through linguistic communication.

During the lesson, members of the intellectual club shared wise thoughts on the topic of the state language, while beginner-level language learners from among retirees recited inspiring quotes about language. The session also included detailed information about the Kazakh poet Ahmet Baitursynuly, and his song «Aqqum» was performed. The lesson «Til – tatulyq tiregi», conducted according to the original program by the center’s language specialist Marjan Bektursynqyzy, generated great enthusiasm among the learners. «Nearly 80 retirees participate in the Kazakh language circle in Bayqonyr district. They are divided into 6 groups based on their language proficiency level. The number of retirees from other ethnic backgrounds attending Kazakh language classes is increasing daily. They are taught by language enthusiast, qualified specialist, and veteran teacher Marjan Primbetova using her original program. Additionally, retirees have established the ‘Urpaqqa amanat’ intellectual club and the ‘Til shanyraqy’ poetry club,» said Roza Qarabekqyzy, head of the Social Service Department for Bayqonyr district, in her concluding remarks.

At the end of the event, participants sang along to M. Shakhanov’s song «Til men Rukh». Following the event, staff of the Active Longevity Center, school teachers, and journalists expressed their sincere appreciation.
