As part of the cooperation between the Active Longevity Center of Almaty District and School-Lyceum No. 73, a number of educational and cultural events have been organized over the past three years. One of these initiatives focuses on promoting the legacy of the Alash movement. Specifically, under the guidance of history teacher Gauri Zhomartova, a project was launched to study the public activities of the national intelligentsia.

The main idea of this initiative is to introduce the younger generation to the life of Oraz Zhandosov, one of the prominent leaders of Alash who made significant contributions to the country, to honor his name, and to restore historical justice. Within the framework of this project, work has begun on producing a documentary film based on historical documents. To bring authenticity to the main roles and convey historical figures accurately, 10th grade students Estai Ertai and Sengazy Zhanseri have been engaged. Professional guidance for the project is provided by an active member of the Center, renowned director Erkin Kassenov, recipient of the honorary badge «Excellence in Culture», the title «Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan», the Order of Friendship of the Russian Federation, and the state award «Golden Man».

The director’s extensive creative experience and professional mastery ensure the quality and depth of the project. This is an important step toward shaping national consciousness and preserving historical memory among the younger generation. Such projects undoubtedly make a valuable contribution to the spiritual revival of independent Kazakhstan, enhance historical awareness, and strengthen respect for the legacy of Alash.
