On the eve of the International Day of Older Persons, the Active Longevity Center of the Saryarka District, together with the District Council of Veterans and the Directorate for Sports and Mass Events, held a flash mob titled “Older People Are Our Priceless Treasure.”
More than 150 people took part in the event. Participants performed various exercises, demonstrated their energy and active lifestyle, and promoted the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The festive programme continued with a concert featuring the Center’s creative groups. The audience enjoyed songs in different languages, traditional Kazakh terme performances, as well as musical and dance compositions.
The event was attended by Mukhtar Erketaev, member of the Presidium of the Astana City Council of Veterans; Sansyzbai Yessilov, Chairman of the Astana City Council of Veterans; Yerkin Daueshev, member of the Plenum of the Astana City Council of Veterans; Serik Karabatyrоv, Head of the Active Longevity Centers of Astana; Damir Khismatullin, Head of the Internal Policy Department of the Saryarka District Akimat; and deputies of the Saryarka District.
