Organized by the Sarayshyq District Akimat, a family-oriented educational and sports event titled “A Son Learns from His Father” and “A Daughter Learns from Her Mother” was held at the Peace and Harmony Park. The event was aimed at promoting national values and strengthening family traditions.
The main purpose of the event was to preserve cultural heritage, reinforce the institution of the family, and instill the spiritual and moral values passed down by ancestors into the younger generation.
Clients of the Sarayshyq District Active Longevity Center took an active part in the event. Representatives of the older generation contributed to the promotion of national traditions and handicrafts. The Center’s skilled artisans demonstrated the intricacies of traditional crafts to their grandchildren, sharing their knowledge and experience.
Such gatherings help young people gain a deeper understanding of the importance of traditional craftsmanship, preserve the continuity between generations, and increase interest in the nation’s cultural heritage.
As part of the event, traditional sports competitions, master classes, and creative workshops were organized. Participants became acquainted with folk traditions, showcased their talents and abilities, and spent meaningful and enjoyable time with their families.
