Today, a knowledge-focused conference titled «Abai murasy – zertteu nysany retinde»was held at the Nura District Service Department, in honor of the 180th anniversary of the great Kazakh thinker and poet, Abai Kunanbayuly. The event brought together participants from six districts of the “Center for Active Longevity” under the Akimat of Astana.
The conference was officially opened by the head of the Nura district service department, Nagima Kalzhabekovna Shamshidin, who congratulated attendees and shared insightful reflections on the relevance of Abai’s works in today’s world.
The conference featured a series of thought-provoking presentations on the following topics:
– The National Idea in Abai’s Works
– “Qara Soz” as the Foundation of Kazakh Philosophy
– Abai and World Literature
– Applying Abai’s Legacy in Modern Society
– Abai as a Mentor and Teacher
Participants explored the poet’s spiritual legacy in depth and discussed its significance in contemporary life. The program included presentations, recitations of Abai’s poetry, and recognition of the most active participants with certificates of appreciation.
