A national sports event was held at the fitness hall of the “Active Longevity Center” in the Saryarka district for its visitors. The main theme of the event was the traditional Kazakh game – Asyk Atu.
The event started with a warm-up session and a flash mob dance, highlighting the active engagement of the participants. After that, attendees were introduced to the history, types, and unique aspects of the asyk game. Organizers explained the rules of the game and demonstrated the correct playing techniques. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about different types of asyk and actively participate in the game themselves.
Additionally, engaging questions related to the national game were asked, and participants who answered correctly received memorable gifts. Throughout the event, players competed against each other, testing their agility and accuracy.
This event was not only a sports competition but also an educational gathering aimed at reviving fading traditions. At the end of the event, all participants left in high spirits.
