On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, tribute ceremonies honoring the nation’s heroism were held simultaneously in the Saryarka, Baikonur, and Nura districts. The events paid respect to the memory of Heroes of the Soviet Union — Manshuk Mametova and I.V. Panfilov.

At the initiative of the Active Longevity Center of the Saryarka district, a flower-laying ceremony was held at the monument of the heroic girl Manshuk Mametova. The event was attended by service recipients from the Saryarka and Baikonur district centers and members of the Saryarka district veterans’ council. The ceremony began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a minute of silence to honor fallen soldiers. After the touching moment of silence, flowers were laid at the monument.

The event continued with a concert program promoting patriotic spirit. Participants sang patriotic songs, performed dances, and recited heartfelt poems. Deep gratitude was expressed to the war veterans and heroes.

In the Nura district, service recipients from the local social services department laid flowers at the monument of Hero of the Soviet Union I.V. Panfilov, located in Zheruyik Park, and observed a minute of silence. This event once again emphasized the deep respect and duty of future generations to the heroes of the Great Victory.

For today’s generation, this is a moment to remember bravery, honor history, and understand the value of peace.
