In the capital, 16 participants from the Active Longevity Center took part in a health marathon organized by Gedeon Richter.
The Nordic walking marathon titled “Path to Health: Heart and Brain Wellness” was held in Astana’s Botanical Garden with the support of the Yessil District Akimat.
The main goal of the marathon was to raise public awareness about the prevention and early detection of cardiovascular, neurological diseases, and cognitive disorders.
Participants followed a specially designed safe route, supported by volunteers and cardiologists.

Nordic walking is one of the most accessible and safe forms of physical activity, especially for the elderly. It engages up to 90% of body muscles, reduces joint stress, and effectively trains the cardiovascular system.
Engaging in at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day reduces many health risks, improves mood, brain function, and overall well-being.
The name “Path to Health: Heart and Brain Wellness” is no coincidence — the focus was not on speed or records, but on taking care of one’s own health.
The “Path to Health” marathon became a true celebration of conscious living, reminding everyone of the importance of health and an active lifestyle.
