The Kerbez Models creative group from the Active Longevity Center in Saryarka District has achieved success at international competitions, showcasing the participants’ talents and the beauty of Kazakh national culture.
At an international competition held in China, the group won the gold award. Each model received an individual award in recognition of her talent and performance.
The group also participated in the Eurasian Ethno-Erato High Fashion Competition of National Costumes, held in Moscow. In the “Best Stage Costume” category, the participants presented a performance inspired by the Kazakh national tradition of Korzyn Ashu, which involves opening a traditional gift basket during celebrations. Their performance earned them second place.
The creative group Kerbez Models is led by Bayan Toiganbayeva.
