Talented senior participants of the Active Longevity Center in Saryarka District organized a festive concert titled “Senior Citizens Are the Treasure of My Country” in celebration of the International Day of Older Persons.
At the beginning of the event, Serik Zholauyuly, Director of the Active Longevity Center, and Kenzhebolat Saparuly, Head of the Saryarka District Department, delivered congratulatory speeches. They wished everyone a happy celebration and good health to all members of the older generation.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the presentation of a dombra, a traditional Kazakh string instrument, to the Director of the Active Longevity Center by the Sharapat Center.
The concert program featured musical performances and dance numbers. The audience enjoyed performances by the Agugai Ethnic Folk Ensemble and the Shabyt, Beautiful Era, Elegant Dance, and Saryarka dance groups. Guests also listened to songs performed by the Center’s participants.
The performance by Kerbez Models, a modeling group consisting of women aged 65 and over, also attracted special attention from the audience. The group presented the “Shashu” collection from designer Kairolla Abishev’s “Zere” collection.
The festive concert brought joy and wonderful impressions to the audience, once again highlighting the importance of respecting, supporting, and caring for older members of society.
