To mark the International Day of Older Persons, deputies of the Astana City Maslikhat visited all six branches of the Active Longevity Center.
The guests congratulated the Center’s participants on the holiday, spoke with retirees, and learned more about the daily activities of the branches.
The Center’s Director, Serik Zholaushyuly, gave the guests a tour of the branches and spoke about the Center’s work, its main areas of activity, and the opportunities available to older people. The deputies also attended classes and clubs, met with participants, and saw how actively and meaningfully they spend their time.
The event was attended by Kanat Estek, Madina Azhikenova, Altynshash Tabuldina, and Bauyrzhan Smailov, deputies of the Astana City Maslikhat, as well as Aigerim Tangirbergenova, Deputy Head of the Astana City Department of Employment and Social Protection.
Such meetings provide an opportunity to learn more about the daily activities of the Centers and establish an open dialogue with representatives of the older generation.
