At the Active Longevity Center of the Nura District, a Nordic walking relay was held in celebration of the International Day of Older Persons, jointly organized with the Directorate for Sports and Mass Events.

The event brought together 150 participants. Before the start, participants took part in a light warm-up, after which they proceeded to the main part of the relay. Together, they created a large-scale formation spelling “October 1,” symbolically marking the International Day of Older Persons.

Working as one team, the participants formed the collective composition, demonstrating the unity and active spirit of the older generation.

At the end of the event, the leaders of the Nordic walking groups were presented with awards.

The event brought participants together in a warm and friendly atmosphere while promoting physical activity, social interaction, and an active lifestyle.
