The final event of the summer season, the “Zhadyragan Zhaz” dance evening, was held at Zhetisu Park in Astana. The festive evening brought together cheerful music, beautiful dances, retro songs and a wonderful atmosphere. Representatives of the older generation took part in the event and bid farewell to the final days of summer in a warm and joyful atmosphere.

The main goal of the “Zhadyragan Zhaz” evenings, held throughout the summer, was to provide meaningful leisure activities for older adults, promote an active lifestyle, strengthen friendships and revive the songs and dances that bring back memories of their youth.

During the evening, Kazakh and international retro songs were performed in the park, taking participants back to cherished memories of their younger years. The musical programme was warmly received by the audience, with many guests singing along, dancing and enjoying the festive atmosphere.

The programme opened with a vibrant flash mob performed by the “Balkiya” dance group. This was followed by Gulbarshyn Alshimbayeva’s performance of “Darkhan Elim”, which created a strong patriotic atmosphere.

The “Gulder” vocal group performed “Ak Saulem”, adding to the festive atmosphere of the evening. The “Dostar” dance group also received a warm response from the audience with its performance of “Bachata”.

The musical programme continued with Natalia Mostovaya and Kanat Omirbekov performing “Seni Suyem”. The song “Kezdesippiz Ekeumiz” was also performed by Gulbarshyn Alshimbayeva. The song was written by Duisembay Nurpeisov, a pensioner and participant of the Active Longevity Centre.

The festive programme concluded with the “Inzhu Dance” and “Shattyk” dance groups performing “Hats”. The dance groups are led by Sholpan Dzhananbayeva.

Each performance received warm support and enthusiastic applause from the audience. Between performances, participants shared memories, reunited with friends and acquaintances, and enjoyed the increasingly lively festive atmosphere in the park.

One of the most exciting parts of the evening was the disco. To the sounds of retro music, representatives of the older generation danced to their favourite songs from their youth and enjoyed spending time together. Their energy and enthusiasm, as well as their commitment to an active lifestyle and participation in cultural events regardless of age, served as an inspiring example for everyone present.

Although the “Zhadyragan Zhaz” season has come to an end, the joyful moments and wonderful memories it created will undoubtedly remain in the hearts of the participants for a long time. The final summer evening brought the older generation together and became a true celebration of music, dance, friendship and good spirits.

“This year’s summer season was a great success. Every week, our pensioners gathered at Zhetisu Park to relax, socialize and dance, turning these evenings into a wonderful tradition. A total of 15 disco evenings were organized for pensioners during the summer. Summer may come to an end, but may the spring in our hearts never fade,” said Serik Karabatуrov, Director of the Active Longevity Centre.
