On May 13, in honor of Mother’s Day, a sports event for Nordic walking enthusiasts was held at the Active Longevity Center of the Nura District.
Participants of the Nordic walking club and representatives of the Nura District Veterans Council took part in the соревнованиях. A total of 110 retirees aged between 67 and 81 actively participated in the sporting event.
The event dedicated to Mother’s Day was organized to promote a healthy lifestyle, support active longevity, and encourage the older generation to take an interest in sports and physical activity.
Taking into account the age characteristics of the participants, all athlete retirees were awarded commemorative medals.
“Today’s event was organized with the support of the Directorate for Sports and Mass Events and the Veterans Council. The competition was engaging and gave participants energy, positive emotions, and unforgettable impressions,” said Bakyt Kaiyrbekkyzy, ведущий specialist of the Center.
