A masterclass on the topic “Health Improvement through Qigong Breathing Exercises” was held outdoors at the Active Longevity Center of the Baikonyr District. Breathing exercises help normalize heart rate and promote inner balance and emotional calm.

The class is led by instructor Zhanat Akimbekuly. The Qigong and breathing exercises group is attended by retirees aged 60 to 80. During the session, participants were introduced to the basic techniques of Qigong. The exercises were based on the principles of proper breathing, slow movements, and maintaining inner balance. Participants practiced the exercises and learned about their health benefits.

The philosophy of Qigong, adapted for older adults, encourages proper breathing and smooth, controlled movements. This, in turn, helps improve overall health, achieve a comfortable state, and maintain inner harmony. The event took place outdoors at Atatürk Park in Astana, giving participants a sense of vitality and a positive mood.
