On January 10, a meeting for pensioners titled “Cybersecurity and Prevention of Internet and Phone Fraud” was held at the Active Longevity Center of the Yesil District with the participation of representatives of government and law enforcement agencies. Participants were informed about the most common types of cybercrime, methods of protection against fraud, as well as the importance of legal and digital literacy in modern society. Representatives of law enforcement agencies explained preventive measures against fraud and answered questions raised by the pensioners.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the police, the prosecutor’s office, and financial security authorities of Astana, as well as representatives of the Department of Employment and Social Protection.
