The Center for Active Longevity of the Almaty District hosted the opening of the winter exhibition of the art therapy club titled “Winter Inspiration”. The exhibition features artistic and decorative works created by club participants and dedicated to the winter season. The artworks depict winter landscapes, a festive atmosphere, personal memories, and inner emotions associated with this time of year. The exhibition showcases works produced during art therapy sessions and includes various techniques of isotherapy and decorative and applied arts, such as kinusaiga, carpet technique, wool watercolor, and beadwork. These methods aim to reveal the creative potential of pensioners and improve their emotional well-being.

Both long-term members of the art studio and newly joined pensioners took part in the exhibition. Approximately 40 works are presented, each reflecting the author’s individual creative vision and style. The “Winter Inspiration” exhibition will remain open until the spring exhibition begins, continuing the studio’s tradition of holding seasonal exhibitions. The project contributes to the creative development of participants and offers visitors aesthetic enjoyment and a positive emotional experience.

“This exhibition was organized as a creative space that conveys the quietness and light of winter, its unique mood, and spiritual atmosphere. We invite city residents who appreciate visual art to get acquainted with the works of our grandmothers. The ‘Winter Joy’ exhibition will be held at 29/1 Qoshqarbayev Avenue until the end of the winter season,” said exhibition organizer Aigul Erkinqyzy. Overall, the art therapy club of the Almaty District has been operating since 2022 and is led by decorative and applied arts master Aigul Kozhakhmetova.
