On the eve of Volunteer Day, volunteer grandmothers from the occupational therapy program at the Saryarka District Center for Active Longevity gathered to hold a masterclass for students of G. Kaiyrbekov School-Gymnasium No. 2.

During the session, they demonstrated to the children how to create Christmas decorative toys using craft materials. The students were also taught how to use artistic tools properly and follow safety rules.

The children learned the techniques for making a “White City,” a Christmas tree, and also created their own drawings, coloring and decorating their holiday ornaments.

The masterclass was engaging and interactive; the children actively participated, gained new knowledge, developed useful skills, and enthusiastically created their first Christmas masterpieces, experiencing joy and inspiration along the way.

The school administration thanked the grandmothers for their warmth, attention, and generous sharing of experience, emphasizing the importance of such masterclasses in fostering creativity in children.
