In April 2025, one of the popular sports, the billiards club, began its work at the Center for Active Longevity in the Saryarka district. Since its opening, about 60 service recipients have registered and regularly practice here.
Every day, 20-30 people visit the club, actively spending time and improving their skills. The club’s responsible volunteer is Kusain Yusupov, who supports the participants and organizes the training process.
Interest in billiards among the recipients of services is very high. Every day, games are held in a friendly and exciting atmosphere.
In honor of the Day of the Elderly, a special tournament was held at the club, where active participants demonstrated their skills.
About 30 people participated in the tournament. At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded valuable gifts.

Special thanks were expressed to the deputy of the Astana city maslikhat, Baurzhan Amangeldiievich Smailov, for his support and contribution to the tournament.
On behalf of all the participants, the head of the department, Kenzhebolat Saparovich, thanked the deputy, noting that such events inspire the older generation, bring them joy, and strengthen their sense of unity.
