In celebration of Astana Day and National Dombra Day, talented seniors from the Active Aging Center presented a special gift to the capital’s residents. The festive programs, titled “The Nation’s Voice – Dombra, The Country’s Light – Astana!” and “Astana – City of Dreams,” were held over two days at the Central Square and the “Ailand” recreation area.
The concert featured performances by senior dance groups “Әдемі дәуір,” “Saryarka,” and “Zhalyn,” the fashion group “Kerbez_Models,” vocal ensembles “Sagynysh Sazy” and “Gulder,” as well as singer Rauza Nabiullina. A unique highlight that captivated the audience was a sports composition featuring Nordic walking and Aikune exercises.
At the “Ailand” recreation area along the Korgalzhyn highway, a concert was jointly organized with the Nurinsky District Akimat, bringing joy and celebration to residents. The ensembles “Nura Äuenderi,” “Atameken,” and “Kyzdarai” were warmly received by the audience.
Over 100 talented grandmothers and grandfathers participated in the event, preparing more than 30 musical performances. This showcased the love and appreciation of the older generation for Astana—a city they helped build and develop.
