In celebration of Astana Day, a chess tournament was organized at the “Active Longevity” Center of the Sarayshyk District with the support of the Sarayshyk District Akimat of Astana city and the Directorate for Organizing Sports and Mass Events.
The tournament brought together 14 senior participants from the “Active Longevity” centers of all city districts. The event aimed to promote an active lifestyle among the elderly, develop logical thinking, and strengthen cooperation between the centers.
The oldest participant in the tournament was 87-year-old Sabyr Abugaliev, who served as a true inspiration to others through his perseverance and passion for the game.
