At the Center for Active Longevity, State Symbols Day was marked with special respect and reverence as a symbol of the country’s independence. The day began with morning exercises, during which participants performed the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In all district branches of the Center, staff and participants also sang the Anthem next to state symbols, showing their respect for Kazakhstan’s independence and unity.
As part of the celebrations, senior citizens from the capital visited the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The museum staff conducted an informative tour, telling visitors about key historical stages in the country’s development, as well as the origins of the Flag, Emblem, and Anthem of Kazakhstan. The visitors learned valuable information about the struggle for independence and the nation’s significant achievements. At the end of the tour, a quiz was held to test participants’ attentiveness and knowledge of the presented material.
Overall, around ten patriotic events were organized across the Centers for Active Longevity in honor of State Symbols Day. These included themed lectures, historical quests, and challenges, all aimed at fostering respect and pride for Kazakhstan’s main state symbols — the National Flag, Emblem, and Anthem.
