On March 8, in celebration of International Women’s Day, the crafty grandmothers of the “80+ Grandmothers” club of the Baikonur district ALC met with the female students of Zh. Zhabaev Gymnasium No. 4.
During the master class, the girls learned in two areas. Some students, under the guidance of Alfiya Zakharkyz, the leader of the “Handmade Gifts” club, learned how to work with beads, while the other students learned to sew patchwork with a sewing machine.
The girls eagerly embraced the art of sewing, and at the end of the meeting, they congratulated the grandmothers on the holiday and expressed their gratitude. During the master class, the students managed to create bead bracelets and rings for their mothers.
Under the guidance of Balym Saparhankyzy, the students gather every Saturday for the sewing and pattern-making club, continuing their work under the “80+ Sheber Shop” social project.
