The Department of Social Services of the Baykonur District held winter intellectual games under the theme “History. Knowledge. Search!” Seven teams composed of service recipients from five centers in Astana participated in the game. Each team consisted of 10 members: 7 main participants and 3 substitutes. Over 70 people watched the game process. In addition, the spectators and guests expressed their gratitude and positive feedback at the end of the game. A small concert program transitioned into a poetry session. This time, the “Saryarka” team from the Baykonur District won and took home the transition cup. The teams “Zeyin” and “Zerde” from the Baykonur District demonstrated excellent preparation and took 1st and 2nd places. The “Syr Sandyk” team won 3rd place. All teams showed excellent preparation. Pensioners aged between 62 and 84 actively participated in the game. The judging panel, which officiated the game, consisted of school teachers, specialists from the “Ziyaly Urpaq” intellectual-innovative school, and historians from the Academy of History and Social Sciences.
