Today, a traditional volleyball tournament was held in honor of Kazakhstan’s Independence Day, organized by the Akimat of Astana city and the “Active Longevity Center.” The main goal of the event was to strengthen employees’ health, promote an active lifestyle, and enhance team spirit and friendly relationships.
The tournament was officially opened, and the first speech was given by M. Aubakirov, Deputy Director of the “Active Longevity Center.” He congratulated everyone on the holiday and wished all teams success and good spirits.
During the tournament, the teams showcased a high level of play and demonstrated their genuine sports skills. The results were as follows:
- 1st place — “Ardagerler” (Saryarka District ALC),
- 2nd place — “Afghanistan Veterans,”
- 3rd place — “Koktal 1” (Saryarka District ALC).
Additionally, the teams of “Saryarka Girls” and employees of the “Active Longevity Center,” who actively participated, were awarded special prizes.
Individual players were also awarded in the following categories:
- “Best Player,”
- “Best Attacker,”
- “Best Defender.”
The winners and runners-up were awarded with trophies, diplomas, and medals. The tournament was organized at a high level and brought a festive mood to both participants and spectators.
