The “Арқа әуендері” veterans’ ensemble, comprised of talented elderly men and women, held a reporting concert for their peers. The creative group performed folk and retro songs, bringing joy to the audience. Songs like “Күн дидарлы Қазақстан,” “Арыс жағасында,” “Мұңайма,” “Туған жер,” as well as the Kyrgyz song “Жаңбыр төкті,” captured the hearts of the listeners. Additionally, the performance of Ә. Желдібаев’s “Ерке сылқым” by the dombyra-playing grandmothers left a lasting impression.

On November 26, the “Арқа әуендері” folk ensemble celebrated its 11th anniversary, with Kenjetay Zhanuzakova serving as its leader. “Most of the ensembles and choirs composed of talented veterans from Astana gather weekly at the Active Longevity Center in the Yesil district for rehearsals. The center provides all the necessary conditions for the development of creative collectives. The ‘Арқа әуендері’ ensemble holds the title of a ‘folk ensemble.’ Kenjetay Yergaliyevna oversees the artistic development of the group, while Temresh Kereev is responsible for musical accompaniment. The concert’s repertoire was diverse, and around 80 retirees attended the event,” said Kymbat Tasymova, Head of the Methodology and Reporting Department at the Center.
