The ALC in the Yesil district, the National Volunteer Network, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized a lecture and workshop for ALC service recipients on the topics “Silver Volunteering: New Horizons for Active Longevity” and “Fundamentals of Volunteering.”
The event featured speakers Aydana Makysheva, a volunteer coordinator, and Darya Merentsova, a coordinator of an active volunteer community. They provided participants with valuable insights into the importance of volunteering and effective ways to organize such activities.
Silver Volunteering is a unique initiative aimed at improving the quality of life for older adults by encouraging their active involvement in public life.
