On July 30, pensioners of the Esil district visited an exhibition of rare books called “Written Heritage of the History of the Great Steppe”.
The exhibition was organized by the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books of the Committee for Archives, Documentation and Book Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The pensioners learned about the history of the book exhibition of the national center, their values and methods of preservation and restoration.
The head of the department of the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books, Anar Baimagambetova, answered pensioners’ questions and spoke in detail about the history of valuable books.
